U3A Browns Bay Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are the heart of U3A Browns Bay. They give members the chance to re‑discover old passions, explore new interests, and connect with others in a friendly, informal setting. There are no entry requirements—and no exams.

How to find and join a group

1. Browse the groups
   Click on a group name below to see a short description of the group.

2. Check meeting dates and times
   Visit the Calendar page for upcoming meeting dates, times, and locations.

3. Get contact details
   Find the convener’s name and contact information in the latest newsletter (available at the main monthly meeting or by email for members).

4. Contact the convener
   Email or call the convener to confirm where the group meets and when the next session is held. Some groups meet in members’ homes, others at community venues.

Before you join a Special Interest Group

To join a SIG, you must first be a member of U3A Browns Bay.
